Greetings!  Welcome to my first ever blog!  I am Nancy Parker the Innkeeper and Chef at the luxurious and gorgeous Gage Mansion!  I decided to launch this in celebration of my one year anniversary. I love every aspect of my position and sometimes I can’t believe I get paid for what I do.  I get to meet exciting, interesting people from all over the world and have engaging conversations about their travels, lives, experiences and interests. I get to take loving care of this historic, beautifully decorated mansion and I get to make fresh, delicious homemade gourmet breakfast that is locally sourced if possible which just so happens to be my passion.  I graduated from Auguste Escoffier Culinary School of Arts and completed my internship with Parkhurst Dining at Juniata College right here in Huntingdon PA. My goal was to be a private or personal chef and when I was offered to fill this position I knew it was a dream come true! As a bonus my children and grandchildren all live in this town as well. Needless to say I am very blessed and cheers to John and Angie Thompson for this wonderful opportunity!  So to my future guests, I look forward to meeting and hosting you on your upcoming visit and travels!
